There are numerous remote back lakes to fish or just take a leisurely canoe ride around the lake. Lakes are various sizes with islands, sand and rocky shorelines and wilderness scenery like you've never experienced ! If you are the "explorer" type - discover your own lake ! Some lakes in our area are not even named ! With some hiking and portaging - you may be the first person ever to slip a canoe in the water !

Wildlife is abundant in and surrounding our Northern paradise, with Moose, Black Bears, Lynx, Wolves, Martins, Fishers, Mink, Otters and Beavers in all the remote lake locations. Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, Ravens, Whiskey Jacks and Ruffed Grouse are just a few of the local birds in the area also. Bring your camera!

We can direct you to the remote lake of your choice - all within a 10 mile radius of our camp. You tell us what you'd like to experience - and we'll do our best to put you on the right lake. And don't forget - we're located on Sydney Creek - a river type body of water that drains into the Montreal River just 2 miles from our camp - so the choices are endless for canoeists!
